    How do I build a child theme? (not very experienced with building/designing sites…) and how do I edit the footer.php in the child theme?
    When I switch themes, can the whole site change and get messed up? I do not want to change too much as I am afraid I will not be able to get it back to normal…

    Is there any place at the bottom where I can add such a text box (even under the posts)? or maybe a wordpress widget I can add?
