    Thanks @sakin. Sorry, what i mean is i have some pictures on my homepage that lead to posts in my site eg. the picture labelled – finding the best flights. I want to have pictures on other pages like this that lead to posts too, but i am unsure on how to do this.

    Thanks @Sakin i did what you said and found that it was a problem with one of the plugins. it now works great – thanks for all your help again, much appreciated 🙂

    @sakin i have added 2 different post ID’s – 246 and 290. but the only one that is showing is 246, Do you know what the problem could be please?

    Be be assured that these are posts, not pages that i have created.

    Could you tell me how it is possible for me to implement my second question also please?

    “i would like to link one of my pages to one of the main three widgets at the top of my home page, but i am struggling to link them to a category. can somebody tell me how i can get my posts featured in these widgets?”
