I had the same question. It is very deceiving since it clearly states in my receipt, “Audioman Pro (Theme Usage for Lifetime and Update for 1 year)”. NOWHERE does it say in the purchasing process that I will be automatically charged each year. I got no warning either that I was about to be charged. I bought this theme for a client website, and now I have to go back to them and tell them this is an added cost for them every year, and of course I have to change the credit card info. I suggest if you want to keep your customers, and especially keep them happy, that you make this abundantly clear in the purchasing process.
imajonsParticipantSo I just went through all my Featured Content images and edited them to make them be the same aspect ratio, but it did not change them in Featured Content. And yes I did clear Cashe and even logged out and back in to admin. I basically hit Edit on each image, checked Thumbnails only box, selected an aspect ratio of 4:3, cropped to make a selection, hit Save, hit Update. What am I missing?
Thanks @Sapana!
imajonsParticipantIs this a feature that you could offer in a theme update by any chance? Did a bit of research into it and it seems that the parameters can be manipulated to modify the behavior. Would be awesome!
imajonsParticipantI think what we are running into, if you remember from before, is that the Categories disappear from the Customizer window whenever I have the “Check to disable Recent Posts/Content on homepage” checked under Homepage/Frontpage Options. That would normally be ok, except for some reason this setting was/is controlling which categories are showing on the blog/posts page as well. That is why only one post was showing on my blog page. I believe this setting should only be controlling what is showing on the homepage, correct? So what I had to do is to uncheck “Check to disable Recent Posts/Content on homepage”, which will open up the Categories box, then select which categories I want, in my case all of them, and then check it again since I don’t want Recent Posts to show on the Homepage. When I did this all my posts were finally showing on the blog page. Is this possibly a bug? So yes, mystery now solved, thanks for all your patience š
I would love to have the buttons on the posts page be the same as all the other ones so great if you could provide the css for that.
I would also like to change the background color of the posts/blog page if you have that as well.
Thanks so much @Skandha!

imajonsParticipantSorry I am not clear about the main issue š What I need is for the Recent Posts to show up on my blog page. Right now the blog page is showing Featured Content. Aren’t they two different things? At least they have a different look on the Homepage, and I don’t like the Featured Content look on the blog page. E.g. buttons on the blog page look totally different from all the other buttons on the site, and there is a sub-heading from Featured Content (the heading from Homepage) that is showing up and I don’t want.
Thanks š
imajonsParticipantAnd also it would be great if I could set the posts/pages background color to a default color that doesnāt affect the Homepage colors. Any way to do that?
Thanks so much for your help!
Ima
imajonsParticipantAlright, now when I went on there I saw you had changed the settings and all of a sudden the Categories in Homepage/Frontpage were showing. They had been missing before. Then I unchecked āCheck to disable Recent Posts/Content on homepageā, and the ability to choose Categories disappeared again.
This is confusing because the two check buttons seem to do a similar thing, to control whether Recent Posts is showing on the Homepage. However neither one of them does what I need, which is to show Recent Posts on the blog page only. How do I do that?
They also donāt look the same, and I want the version that shows when I have āCheck to Enable on Static Pageā checked … except again, I donāt want it on the static page, only on the blog page.
Thanks š
imajonsParticipantHi,
So no, I only want the Featured Content on the homepage, not recent posts. I want the View More button to link to the blog page, but the blog page isnāt working as stated before. It is only showing Featured Content that includes posts that are marked āstick to topā. I want Recent Posts to show on the blog page, not Featured Content. Not sure why it is doing that as I thought blogs usually showed all recent posts by default.
Does that make sense?
Thanks!
Ima
imajonsParticipantHi @skandha,
Hope you got my e-mail with the correct credentials. There is something really weird going on with the posts page. It seems that what shows is the Featured Content material, but only if I have the posts within Featured Content set to “Stick to the top of the blog”.
When I go to the Homepage/Frontpage Options, the check boxes for where Recent Posts should show give me two different versions of Recent Posts. Those seem to be the versions that should show on the posts page, but they are not doing that. Is the Featured Content overriding the blog posts/recent posts page by any chance?
Thanks!
imajonsParticipantI am running into this exact issue. Would rather not have to crop each image to be the same size only for them to look good in the featured blog content on Homepage, when I want them to be different sizes on the single post pages. Especially since I will be handing the site over to someone who will not know how to do this, and they will be adding posts and images all the time. Are there any plugins or anything else I can use to fix this issue?
Thanks!
imajonsParticipant@Skandha I have just e-mailed you my admin credentials. Thanks for your help!

imajonsParticipantHi @skandha, I found out how to control the color of the social icons, and I guess I am ok with them being on the outside of the Menu. Plus the main menu seems to be working now, guessing it may have been a cache confusion. However, is there any way I can have the social icons in front of the Menu toggle? So the order would be Social Icons, Menu, Search icon.
Thanks!
Ima
imajonsParticipantSorry, not sure that IMG link worked. Here is the actual link, https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DJgr1nCK3LQjjm37PREA3eO2I7NndT9r/view?usp=sharing
imajonsParticipantHere is an image of what I want the menu to look like with the Menu drop down open. For some reason it is showing me the correct thing while I edit in admin, but not in the published version.
imajonsParticipantHere is a link to the screenshot of the Homepage/Frontpage Options, with the Blog page on the right with the only one post showing.

imajonsParticipantTried to deactivate the Max Mega Menu and that did not help. Now ALL my pages are listed in the menu whether I want them to or not. Plus the social menu is still on the outside of the menu. Do you know which plugin would be getting in the way?
Thanks!
imajonsParticipantWould that be the Max Mega Menu? Or SHOULD I be using the Max Mega Menu?
imajonsParticipantThe issue is that I wanted to keep the Promotion Headline as a Custom section so that I could keep the background image and then have the video only pop up when people click Play Video. I guess I will have to find a way to edit that video to get this right? I also tried using the button with a button link, but the button is not showing up after I publish so I couldn’t test to see if that works. Do you know if the button link/url would work better than the Play Video url?
Thanks!
imajonsParticipantIs there a way to attach an image here that isn’t a link? The IMG option is asking for a link.
Definitely don’t have the Categories option. It says: “Only posts that belong to the categories selected here will be displayed on the front page”, but then no options for categories is given. The only thing I can choose from are three different Headings, “Recent Posts Heading”, “Posts, Page, Header Text”, and “Recent Posts Sub Heading”.
Thanks!
Ima
imajonsParticipantThank you, yes it just had one extra empty paragraph.
