Hi Skandha!
I just note the same problem. I put disabled to the header media, the picture disappeared, but it was always a black space with texts and link. It’s true that emptying all the texts and link, the blog section will disappear. Anyway with your other themes I’ve tried, it’s enough to put disabled to the header media, and the whole section disappears. It’s better and more logical on that way that to have to borrow all the texts and link. I wasn’t thinking to do it, only after reading this post in the forum.
Best regards.

DicnethParticipantThanks for the information Skandha. Actually we could finish the website adjusting menu and footer by ourselves, but will have a look when update arrive.
As for the social icons, we could figure out the problem because afterwards we had the same problem with other icons. The explications can help others when it happens. We were loosing icons during migration from local to server because at one moment we decided, on “setting- general”, to change “Site Address (URL)”. WordPress Adress and Site Adress were not the same anymore. Fitting it and we can fit that problem.
Best regards.

DicnethParticipant@Skandha : We put a new version of the website online. As the work is urgent, we couldn’t wait a few days to have it fit. So we adjust ourselves with media queries the menu and footer of the site. But it would be still important to have theme adjusted.
Also me noticed a few other issues:
– We build the site in local and then migrate it to the server. All our pictures and icons are ok after migration. But icons coming from the theme (social menu icons, responsive menu icon and scroll up icon) disappear after migration.
– If on a wide screen you adjust the window of the browser to see the responsive menu, open responsive menu, then asjust again the window of the browser to wide, the website keep a responsive configuration and we have to refresh the page to see it at the browser wide. Thanks to have a look to it.
Best regards.

DicnethParticipantI just put a new version of the website online, always same link. There you can see the color problem in the footer with small size screens. Also could you check the menu responsive with small size screen? It looks like something should be fit there also.
Thanks and best regards.

DicnethParticipantThanks Skandha!
DicnethParticipantUuuuppsss! I plead guilty. I found my mistake in other place of the code, and that made the mess. Everything ok now, the theme works 100% great!
Thanks again for your help!
DicnethParticipantThanks a lot for your interest and your help Mahesh! So it’s true you are very helpfull in Catch Themes :).
To import stylesheet I changed my @import url to the add_action in functions.php that is clearly better practice. It doesn’t solve the issue, but now I know it surely comes from me.
I’ll take time to look at it, also soon I’lI try in the remote server, not only in local. Any solution or new issue, I’ll tell you.
Thanks a lot again!
Best regards.
DicnethParticipantHi Mahesh,
The website is still in local.
If I insert this code in my child theme, the text and the black band on the slider never disappear:
#slider .featured-text-wrap { display: none; }
But if I insert exactly the same code to additional CSS form the customizer of the theme, the text and black band disappear directly.
So I could solve the problem. But I was wondering why my child theme clearly didn’t work in this case, when it worked with other codes. And I suppose it can occur to other people eventually.
DicnethParticipantHi,
An interesting fact. I had the same problem and I picked the right code in my case with Catch Evolution… and it didn’t work. I tried everything possible in my child theme (that is working fine up to now) and nothing happened. Then I had an idea, and introduced exactly the same code in the “Custom CSS” from the theme, and it worked immediately.
A reason for it, a child theme not working for some code?
