Everest is beautiful, however (though I followed all the instructions) I do not manage to change the slider with the text. Though the site consists of pages, I wrote three posts and I got the ID of those posts and then I copy this ID into the field and press Save – and then the link is gone! I repeated it so often, it does not work. The site is http://www.das-buch-meines-lebens.de

Dear Sahin, could you please explain what else I can do (besides watching this video that you recommend, but it is one hour long and starts from the very scratch and I am not sure whether it explains my specific problem at all)

I found the solution:

– the link wasn’t saved when I copied the whole URL (e.g. http://mydomain.com/?p=99) into the field and clicked saved

– when I typed only the number (e.g. 99) into the field, then it was saved

the slider is now working!

@Patrick: nicht die ganze URL in das Eingabefeld kopieren, sondern nur die Nummer eingeben, dann hat es bei mir geklappt – viel Erfolg!

@Petra: yes you need to just add in the ID not the link. If you cannot find the id then you can use this plugin to find the post ID http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/catch-ids/
