Hello,
My slider seems crazy. Sometimes it disappears. Therefore, in the option panel, I try to disable and enable it again. Sometimes this works, sometimes not. Now the slider is invisible again.
Following other posts, I checked that the article in slider has Public profile and I also tried to deactivate all the plugins. But nothing worked.
Please help me!!!

@marco-cherin: I checked the same on our server and it is working fine. Go to Dashboard=> Appearance=> Customize=> Featured Post Slider=> Slider Options and make sure you’ve put correct Post ID in Featured Post Slider #.

I’m sure that the Post ID is correct. This morning, the slider disappeared and appeared again (automatically!) at least twice!
How can I fix it?

@marco-cherin: It’s kinda strange. And working fine on ours. Have you tried with the customizer instead of Theme options. And please try with different Post IDs(just for testing purpose) and please make sure the Post has Featured Image set.
From when are you facing this problem. Let me know further.

Yes, I tried with both methods.
Now I’ve changed the featured post. We just need to wait and hope it does not disappear too! If this post does not disappear, maybe the problem was in the featured image of the previous one?

@marco-cherin: Does this happen with Demo slider too? Please check. Please try installing a fresh copy of the theme. Hope this helps. If still doesn’t work, let me know further.

Yes you can remove the theme and install it, all you setting will remain as they are. Let me know if any problem.

@marco-cherin: We checked you site, and its really strange how the image in the slider is not appearing. For testing, We used post title “Program” and it displayed fine no matter how many times We refresh the page. We checked it different browsers too, just to make sure. We’ve reverted the slider image back to the one you’ve put. Please try adding a new one and test if it works.
And the other issue you’ve mentioned.
* My header image does not link to the homepage

Thanks for fixing issues 2 and 3.
But the slider problem is not solved! I tried to add two post in the slider instead of one, but no way… After some refreshes, the slider disappears again!!!

@marco-cherin: Sorry for the late reply. When I tried with the Program post, it worked everytime. Did it worked for you with that post? Please try reinstalling the theme. Let me know if the problem persist.

Dear Mahesh,
I think I know the cause of the problem.
The Program post worked because it was the only one with Italian and English versions. The other posts did not have translations, so probably some conflict with the theme occurred.
Now I’ve written an English version of the Documentary post (which is the one I’m interested in now), but there’s another big issue: when I switch between languages, the posts in the slider don’t change accordingly (i.e., I see always the post in the same language)!!!

@marco-cherin: For this, you’ll need to create a child theme. You can find more details on creating child theme HERE. Then in you child theme’s functions.php add the following codes:
