    Hi,

I know this is probably a long shot…

I have a “second blog” page created via the category function (see Scrambled Egg under the blog tab at mademers.com). Problem is, I would like to have a unique header for that blog. Is there a way I can modify the code to change the site header for that category page and any posts that belong to it?

Right now the only way I can do this, I think, is to create a subdomain, which would be a lot of work. So if there is an easier option, I would greatly appreciate discovering it.

    Thanks.

@michelled: Yes, you need to make a different subdomain and use it. It will be easier.

As for custom, you need to build child theme and then add image in the child theme header with condition for this category https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/is_category/
