    Hi there,

    Is there any way to rename “RECENT POSTS” to Announcement and news? also would like to add a sidebar to the pages/post/portfolio, I tried to change the “Template” and put default template on the page but still cannot see any sidebar, your assistance would be much appreciated, thanks.

    @vj2017 : To rename RECENT POSTS You will need to create a child theme. Please download and active the following child theme.

    Next, To display sidebar to the pages/posts you will first need to add widgets to sidebar from WordPress admin first, then only they will appear on Post and pages. If the widgets are not working after adding on WordPress admin please let me know.

    Thanks Tikaram, I am using Wp.com platform and cannot upload theme – on premium plan. see this : https://wordpress.com/theme/verity

    Shall I contact to WP.com team to change those setting? what do you recommend?
