First of all, great work on the theme as well as the forum here! Really helpful 🙂

 

About the query, i want to reduce the thumbnail of the images shown on my blog page, so that i can accommodate more images/posts on one page. Will be even better if there is a way to showcase multiple category posts divided from one another (like a magazine theme). And i did try reducing it from the reduce thumbnail size section in media settings, but that didn’t work.

@whhfsg: Are you trying to reduce the thumbnail in your Homepage ( http://smilespreaders.org/ ) then you create the child theme and edit the size in your function.php

add_image_size( 'featured', 210, 210, true); // uses on homepage featured image


After this you need to regenerate the thumbnail with regenerate thumbnail plugin ( http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ )
