    I can’t figure out how to have only one row of 4 posts on the home page and have a more button to see the rest.    https://leask.ca

    @fireflywebs : If you would like to display only four post on HomePage Login to your WordPress admin section.
    Click on Seetings => Reading from WordPress admin section.
    Under Reading setting you will find Blog pages show at most : Select 4 and save changes

    Yes, but I want the ‘more button’ so that visitor can see there are more to view.  I have the site set to static page.

    @fireflywebs : You will need to Enable Recent Posts on Static Page from customizer.
    Go to Theme options => Homepage/FrontPage options and enable Recent Posts on Static Page
