I’m wondering if someone can help me not just remove the ‘display’ of the search box, but actually ‘disable’ it entirely. Site lock has detected a problem with it, and I need to fully remove it from my site even though, I’ve disabled it already and it can’t be seen anywhere on the site.
    Thank you in advance!

@kimakaze: Which search you want to remove it? Please post in your site URL and Explain. To remove it you need to create child theme and edit code directly. For child theme and sample child theme, refer to http://catchthemes.com/blog/create-child-theme-wordpress/

I’m looking also how to remove the search box. In my case i would like to remove both search box, the upper right corner box ( the one in .sidebar-header-right i think is it ) and the one in the navigation menu right corner.
I already have my child theme but I don’t know what I have to edit.

@Maverick87Shaka: Please don’t post same question twice. It will be difficult to manage for me. I have answered in detail here at http://catchthemes.com/support-forum/topic/remove-header-search-box/

Sorry but I can’t manage to delete my previous post, I made the new one couse I noticed that I post in the wrong theme section, I’m using the catch responsive!

@Maverick87Shaka: It’s fine. Just for your future reference.
