I purchased the Catch Theme Pro with the hope that i wouldn’t have to do much to get it up and running by basically just changing images. The zip file i downloaded on the account page doesn’t even have the images shown on https://catchthemes.com/demo/catch-foodmania-pro/. The slider is just blank. All i want to do is basically just use the same demo shown and just change the images. Why don’t i have the default demo as shown on the link?

I have sent you an email and have attached the demo content .xml file with it.
You can import the demo content using the WordPress Importer and make use of the demo contents.

Thanks for the response but i uploaded the .xml file and still cannot get it to look like the demo. Seems it has been modified. I am simply trying to get exactly what was on the demo here https://catchthemes.com/demo/catch-foodmania-pro/ as my homepage. I can then edit the images and whatnot afterwards but i need the layout just like it is on the homepage for the demo. I imported the .xml you sent but i am getting a completely different layout.

@bhabass: Sorry for the inconvenience.
For your site to look exactly like the demo you will need to have the same customizer settings like in the theme demo. The demo content file will import all the post page and image of the demo. So now to have the customizer settings you will need to use Catch Themes Demo Import Plugin. I will send you the customizer settings file through email.

You will need to install and activate Catch Themes Demo Import plugin.
Then Go to => Dashboard => Appearance => Import Demo Data => Choose a DAT file for customizer import: => Browse and select the file I have sent you via email and Click Import Demo Data.

@skandha Thank you for your help. Progressing a little bit. One more issue. How do i edit the text for example on the food menu. I would like to change the text and possibly the images for the food menu on the demo. Pardon my ignorance because i am new to wordpress but i assumed one would just be able to open the properties and change the text. It shows demo but i don’t see anywhere to edit the text for the food menu?

You can create Food Menu using Post,Page, Category or Custom Content Type option.
But to have a menu like in the demo of the theme you will need make use of the Food Menu of Essential Content Types Pro Plugin. You can checkout the additional-features available in pro version of the plugin.

@skandha, so basically there is no way to edit the food menu as presented in the demo unless i buy another pro plugin?
I am not able to just change the text and images unless i get the pro plugin?

I am also interested in this as well. I have the Demo importer installed but nothing seems to be changing on the site after I do the “import demo data” thing.
