Formatting text bold or italics

Any text in the body of a page or post. I agree that too much playing around with formatting reduces the clean look of this theme, but there are occasions when I want to emphasise a word or phrase or put a book title into italics.

I am used to formatting text using the wordpress text editor with previous themes and have not had a problem until moving to SlimClick Pro.

I don’t know whether you can see screenshots on my mac, but here is an example of how I used WP text editor to put some text into italics:/Users/FRA/Desktop/SLIMCLICK/Screenshot 2020-09-25 at 17.47.30.jpg
And here is the result when published

I see the italics when I edit but when I publish they are not visible.

I see that planarknight had the same problem on 23 September (issue 4)

Any idea when this is going to be fixed? I’m going into hospital for an operation on Monday and would have liked to have sorted this out first.

Thank you Skandha. Update 1.2.6. fixes the problem of bold not showing.
But it does not appear to fix the problem with italics. See the first paragraph of a blog entry in which Kol Nidrei should be in italics.
