Hi,
Hoping you can help. At some point, the Featured Slider images stopped displaying in Google Chrome for my website – ourladyofsorrowsschool.org. (The Slider works correctly on Safari.)Here’s a screenshot of what I see in Google Chrome – https://snag.gy/qHd6uk.jpg
And, here’s how it’s supposed to look (via Safari) – https://snag.gy/paXz0V.jpgCan you help?
Thank you.

The slider image is nearly of 1MB(megabytes). This will reduce the performance of your site badly. Please try reducing the file size of slider images to as low as possible. If the problem still persist after reducing the slider image file size you will need to check for plugin conflict with our themes. Please follow this link to know more about plugin conflict with our themes.

At this point, I’d prefer to just lose the slider altogether and go with a static hero image. Is that possible? I’ve tried using just one slide within the Featured Slider, but the arrows still show up on the right side of the hero image – even though there aren’t any other slides. (See lower right corner of this screenshot – https://snag.gy/043jIe.jpg)
Please help.
Thanks.

#slider-nav { display:none; }
Let me know if you need further assistance.

It’s still not working. Please see the attached screenshot – https://snag.gy/oVYOaM.jpgHow can this be fixed?
Thank you.

Try changing the image file name from HERO-1140×450-AcadExcl-0917_tiny.png to a simpler name with alphabetical characters only. Let me know if the problem still persist.
