Webgo82Participant
Hi,
thank you, but the menu bar does still not have the desired behaviour.
My desired outcome is:
Option A: once the user starts to scroll down, the logo gets reduced in size (maybe 30%) and hence also the whole menu bar reduces in height. If this behaviour is possible on desktop and mobile devices it would be great.
Option B: If option A is not possible, I would prefer the following only for mobile view:
– In the initial view, when opening the page, the menu bar should be only as heigh as the required by the logo (currently, there is still a lot of black space on too and below the logo)
– When scrolling down the logo in the menu bar disappears, only the hamburger menu remains and hence the menu bar gets reduced in height.
(- the desktop view could remain as it is now)Many thanks in advance. I appreciate your support!
Webgo82ParticipantUnfortunately, the code you’ve provided does not yield the desired result.
On desktop the, menu bar increases now in size when scrolling down.
On mobiles, the menu bar does not become the hamburger menu when scrolling down. It is also bigger than before.
The behaviour I want to achieve with the menu bar is the one shown in this website (not sure if it is wordpress): https://www.fitmedi-akademie.de/
Webgo82ParticipantOK, I understand. Thanks for clarifying.
Webgo82ParticipantI’ve deactivated it.
Webgo82ParticipantGreat, it worked. One more question. I saw that on some websites the upper menu bar behaves like this:
1. On desktop: Once you start scrolling down the height of the menu bar gets reduced and also the logo becomes smaller. Once you scroll up again to the top of the page the menu bar and the logo increase again in size.
2. On smartphones: On top, the menu bar is shown, once you start to scroll down it becomes the mobile menu with with the tree horizontal lines and thereby gives also more space to the content.
Would it be possible to implement this somehow?
Webgo82ParticipantYes, thank you. it worked. left a review
Webgo82ParticipantIt worked. Thanks!

I think most users will not take notice of this. Is it possible to show all payment options below each other? (I am using an android phone)
Here is a screenshot:

2. when switching between the preselected payment options (woocommerce payments) to banktransfer or paypal and then back to the first set of payment options, they don’t load anymore.

Webgo82ParticipantI just turned off normal scolling.
I managed to get the autoplay of the video to work by removing the audio! Is it possible to make the button to pause and play the video transparent?
Webgo82Participant<You can enable scrolling too. For that,
Go to => Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => FullPage Options => Check to enable Normal Scrolling and Publish.>I did the change but the result is not satisfactory, now the content of each section is cut off and can’t be seen completely. Actually I would prefer to have the standard scrolling feature of the theme, but it should work and allow to red also the whole content of each section. How can I get this to work?
</Header Video only displays on screen size above 900px. This is a default WordPress feature. To have the header video work on mobile devices as well you will need to use our Header Enhancement Plugin.>
I installed the plugin. Now the video is shown also in smartphones but neither on deskop or smartphone does not autoplay instead you first need to click on it to play. Is it possible to set it up for autoplay and turn off the audio of the video?
Webgo82ParticipantI was able to fix this. You can close this topic
Webgo82ParticipantI found out how to change this, but is it possible that this has lead to the scrolling issues that I describe in the following topic? https://catchthemes.com/support-forum/topic/scolling-issues-and-issue-with-video-header/

Webgo82ParticipantHi, I’ve tried with several machienes incl.on laptops and smartphones and the problem that I thaugt is fixed still exists. It seems that scrolling down from section 4 to 5, is only working sometimes, and the problem seems to be browser specific. With Firefox there are problems, with edge it works better.
And asaforementioned, the once I get to section 5, scolling within that section is almost impossible.
What can I do?
Webgo82ParticipantHi, it seems that the issue of scrolling down to the static page has magically disappered. However I am still having issues of scrolling within the static page. Once I get to the beginning of the static page, an additional scroll, takes me far too much down so that content on the static page is missed. Any idea what to do about that?
Webgo82ParticipantI am using now the existing sections (services, portfolio etc) so I don’t need support for the issues described above anymore.
March 14, 2021 at 11:42 am in reply to: Add additonal section or customize section scrolling #276762Webgo82ParticipantHi, in addition to the more urgent question above I’d also like to ask if it is possible to include calender events in one of the sections?
Webgo82ParticipantDear Tikaram,
thank you for the promt answer, however I still need some help as my navigation is now a mess.
I’ve set anchor lins in guthenberg and specified the links in Appearance =>menu. While the links now navigate to the correct part of the website, the navigation for scrolling on the right side does not follow. The result is that after using the upper main menu, you can not scroll properly anymore. Afterwards I used ps2id and specified also the additional CSS clases, however this did not yield any change.
Could you please have a look, the url is ashantidance.com.
I think the problem is that anchor links are #about, #kurse, #events (while the latter two are both within the static page) however when scrolling it still navigates to #section1, #section2 and #section3. I’ve tried alseady to use also “#section1,2,3” as anchor links but that didn’t work.
Regarding the static page. I already have a static page, but I wanted to add an additional static page because I wanted to set it up with an appearance just like a different section in the demo, i.e. with a different background color than the first static page and the section scrolling function. Is this possible?
