One final thing:
I added a blue gradient behind the menu, as the menu wasn’t visible on top of the image. But that means, depending on the screen size (1920×1080 is fine, nothing below that), that the heading on all subpages is centered to the header image, not to the area below the blue menu background. Anything I can do about that?angrybirdParticipantThat did the trick, thank you.
angrybirdParticipantOk so I got help from WPML. For any one else having the same problem, I hade to use the “Translate texts in admin screens »” at the bottom of the String translations page.
Now Skandha, how about we fix the scroll and search icons?
angrybirdParticipantAny news? Site needs to go live, but cannot at the moment because of the translation issue.
angrybirdParticipantOh and I forgot: why is the search-icon and scroll-icon represented by a box. I read your replies to other people using other themes, and it was always to “disable all other plugins”. Well I tried that and it did not work. If enough people have the same problem across themes, might be something with the themes themselves?
angrybirdParticipantThe site is under construction at the moment and not visible to the public. But it seems that in all your themes that I use (Solid Construction Pro, Clean Enterprise Pro, SimClick Pro etc) all headers are placed on the image, not at the top of the textarea. Except for Decree Pro. where the heading is indeed at the top of the text area.
“Also do you want the same heading on all pages?” No, if the heading of the page is Contact us, then it should say Contact us, and if the heading is Welcome it should say welcome.
Here is an example, where the text Kontakt would be situated right above the text Ta gärna kontakt…”: https://cape-fi.hel5.wp-cloud.dev/kontakt/.
Is this at all possible, or do I have to buy another team?
angrybirdParticipantYes, thank you, worked great!
angrybirdParticipantOh I was checking the number of Teams columns on a 1280-wide display. If it looks godd on that, it gets messed up in the same way as explained above if I test on a 1920-wide display.
angrybirdParticipantAlso in Teams: If I add social links they are white text on a white background. Nothing in the Color-options affects this text. This seems a very buggy theme that I paid good money for.
angrybirdParticipantangrybirdParticipantangrybirdParticipantAnd the hover-color over the Teams-images do not change, even though I’ve changed all the Button Gradient colors. They are still green-yellow. How do I change this and why are the custom colors not working?
angrybirdParticipantSo a little more info on this:
I was not able to translate any of the front page texts in this theme witm WPML at first. I contacted WPML and they told me to add the following code in the Custom XML Configuration:
<wpml-config>
<admin-texts>
<key name=”theme_mods_clean-enterprise-pro-child”></key>
</admin-texts>
</wpml-config>After that I was able to find all the front page text in the string transaltions. My default site language is Swedish. All the string were defined as English. So I selected all the string and chose “Change the language of selected strings” to Swedish and everything worked. I had three languages (Finnish as the third), and everything was ok on the front page.
Except for the header image that was missing from the two languages that were not default (Swedish and Finnish).
So I added a header image and everything was fine.
Then I addes another header image, chose Randomize uploaded headers, and they were again gone from the two languages that were not the default languages (Swedish and Finnish).
BUT NOW, all the front page text strings have by themselves translated back to English! The flag still shows they are Swedish, but the content is English!So I am pretty sure the theme broke my site.
Now, I can translate everything to Swedish again, but if I ever touch the header media, I will probably have to do everything all over again.
Surely this has got to be a whole bunch of bugs in your theme?
angrybirdParticipantYes, thank you, that fixed it.
angrybirdParticipantWell as it turns the click-action off it works for now. But if it would hide the icon on mobile altogether it would be a better solution, then no one will try to click it.
Also, the icons are supersmall and almost impossible to hit. Any way to make them bigger on mobile?
angrybirdParticipantOk thanks, they got it working.
angrybirdParticipantYes, it worked, thank you.
angrybirdParticipantI already have a child theme active.
angrybirdParticipantAny news?
angrybirdParticipantOh, but a faint shadow can be seen to the right of the header. Any way to remove that? It could be removed from the whole container, I don’t think it is needed at all.
