TrevorParticipant
Hi,
Just discovered that it was because I had also created an OPTIONAL Page sidebar and this was overriding the Primary one. Not sure why this is there as you cannot select it on the Page Sidebar drop down menu – only default -OS1,OS2,OS3 appears.
TrevorParticipantHi Skandha,
No problems, I did try various changes as prompted but gave up.
They say “if you have a problem, sleep on it”
I woke up this morning with an idea of why the old images worked, but the newer versions did not.
I had loaded the old slides in the smaller size I wanted (620 x302).
However, when I checked the New Slides, I had uploaded them in the original size (1920 x 1080) and then SCALED them to 602 in the media library.
Although in the “Featured Image” of each page they showed as 602 it seems the slider was using the original size.
I deleted all the larger slides. Uploaded another set in the 602 size and it worked.
It would seem the slider is ignoring the SCALING in Media Library.
Thanks for all your help and hope my revelation helps your end.

TrevorParticipantHi Skandha,
I keep having error codes and CSS will not let me save it.
I appreciate what you are doing but why do you think I am having problems just with new images, is there something I should be doing?
TrevorParticipantHi Skandha,
Oh your tempting me now I could have three different colours. 🙂Have a good day.

TrevorParticipantHi Skandha,
Did not expect such a quick response, thought this was your sleeping time!
Brilliant you are an ace. I take it they are three discrete areas so I need all three codes.
TrevorParticipantHi Sapana,
What a shame but will just have to find a way round it as like this theme otherwise.
Thank You
TrevorTrevorParticipantHi Skandha,
I do appreciate your patience and this has coloured the social media icons but still not Footer Area 1.
I took a screen print and have indicated with a red area the last bit I am trying to colour.
Sorry for being so pedantic but the grey area just spoils all the rest of the page and by Background brand “green” is too dark.

TrevorParticipantHi Skandha,
Thank you once again but this was not what I really wanted. I assumed there was only one FOOTER Area but there seems to be 2.
One called Footer which has the copyright in and the other Footer Area 1 where the widgets go.
Because they were all grey I thought they were one.
Can I do the same for footer area 1 so all the grey area is the same colour?

TrevorTrevorParticipantHi Sapana,
No as this just brings in the whole blog page.
My old site just displayed a shortened version. You can see a picture here
TrevorParticipantThank you Sapana.
TrevorParticipantHi Skandha,
Thanks and great. Sorry for mix up.

TrevorParticipantHi Sapana,
Thank you for this and most helpful.
I have deleted the widgets on the Optional Page Sidebar and set the Single Page/Post Sidebar to Content, Primary Sidebar.
All my pages now have the Content/Primary Sidebar.
Just so I am sure I have this right. If I want to use an alternative side bar or make a specific page content only; I do this in the specific page settings. Is that right?
Best Wishes
TrevorTrevorParticipantHi Skandha,
I think there might be some confusion here.
I went into Customise and changed “BORDER” to bright red. See file Border Red.
What happened was the line turned red, not the bottom footer area I was expecting.
I was trying to change the grey area (Footer and copyright).
As you can see (Border Red Image) it is showing my BACKGROUND Colour (Green) in the Customiser Page, but not when published (See Published Red Border Image)
TrevorParticipantHi Skandha,
For clarification I have set the Border to a cream colour see images. Images
I tried the WordPress Cache several times. I also went to Chrome/More Tools/ Clear Cache, still has default colour see Footer image. I have also looked at it on my ipad and iphone and no change.
Hope this helps.
