TikaramtikaramParticipant@heinelg : I checked your site and it looks like there is some issue with the HTML elements on your site.
The footer div is supposed to be inside the page div based on the structure of our theme.<footer id="colophon" class="site-footer" role="contentinfo">
On your site the footer div is not inside the page div and the structure is not well formatted. Please check on your site and remove the extra div and make sure the footer div resides inside the page div.
The issue was explained in the previous reply as well on this link

Go to Appearance => Customize => Homepage Settings
Under : Your homepage displays Select : A static page and select a page for Homepage and Posts Page.
Now Go to Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Homepage / Frontpage Options
Scroll down and Locate Recent Posts on Static Page and enable it.Let me know if this helps to set blog to show horizontally.

TikaramtikaramParticipant@cgarryjames : Yes you can keep both the sections as desired and you can easily move the sections with the help of Section Sorter. Login to your WordPress admin section. Go to Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Sections Sorter.
Drag and Drop the sections as desired.
Regarding the Elementor I will contact you and check for issues on your site. Let me know if you have any more issues.

If you would like to display video in the homepage section you may add video from Header Media.
Login to your WordPress admin section. Go to Appearance => Customize => Header Media.Under Enable on : Select Homepage/Frontpage
Under Header Video : Click on Select Video and upload the video or you may add a YouTube video link as well.

If you would like to use Vimeo support please check the following plugin. Download and activate the plugin and enter the video URL from the customizer.

The following issue indicates that the option to remove the # from link is not available.
https://github.com/alvarotrigo/fullPage.js/issues/2022If you just do not want to use the anchors you can modify the FullPage functionality with the help of child theme. Let me know if you are comfortable with child theme customization and do not want to use the anchors as well.
