You may upgrade to pro version for more features and flexibility like deleting the copyright.It can be done using the Additional css option from the customizer as well. Please post in your site URL so that i can help you with the css.

For static frontpage, go to Dashboard => Appearance => Customize => Static Font Page, select A static page in Front page displays option and select your desired page in Front page option.Regards,

Make sure that you don’t leave a trailing slash at the end of your URL like http://www.example.com/

For Featured Content Layout with two columns.Go to Dashboard=> Appearance=> Customize=> Additional CSS box and add the following CSS:
#featured-content.layout-two .hentry { text-align: center; width:100%; }
