I would really appreciate your help!LydiaParticipantIt wouldn’t help, I have been tested this option (among the other options) for the last a couple of days. A larger font on such a small image looks just as bad. The text is not readable, and the images are too small to see anything. Please check it out on http://www.johnsoncamera.com. I want to have the slider images to be cropped and to locate the text over a solid color. I am already considering to edit fullframe-featured-slider.php in my Child theme – to replace some of the code with the Metaslider code, but I am afraid it is going to be messy. Do you have a better idea how to use another slider plugin instead of your build-in slider?

This code is a quick fix to the slider on my website, it is good for now while I am looking for a permanent solution. I need a responsive slider with the build-in ability to crop the image for a smaller screen, and with a better control over the text. Is it possible to use a MetaSlider plugin instead of your default slider? What file should I use (c-panel file manager)to insert the Metaslider code manually?I really do not want to move my website to a different theme but I can’t use your slider on my website. Please help me to continue using your theme. Thank you again.
LydiaParticipantOK, I have created a child theme. Now I need to make some changes to my mobile home page.
I would need to use a separate set of images for mobile Slider – as they use in Twenty Seventeen theme. If it is not possible in your theme, I would need to hide the text (too small to read) and “pagers” (too large) from the Slider. They make my mobile home page look very unprofessional and the bounce rate for this page is very high. I can’t leave it as it is now.
Any ideas how I can get these changes? Your help would be very appreciated.
Thank you.LydiaParticipantPratik,
Thank you for clarification.
Have a wonderful Holiday season!LydiaParticipantI have updated the theme to v. 3.9.6 and tested top (main) menu in Mobile – it looks beautiful now. All sub-menus are hidden and would open in additional drop-down menus.
Great job, thank you!!!
I really appreciate your speedy response, it is very impressive 🙂LydiaParticipantYes, it works if I want to have all the icons the same color. It is not the answer I was looking for, but I like you simple solution, so I am going to use it on my website.
Thank you!!!
LydiaParticipantI am already using CT: Social Icons widget and have default (black/white) icons displayed on my website. My question was if I can change the icon images to something different? In Full Frame theme description it is that the theme has 27 different social icons to choose from. I do not see how I could customize the links.
LydiaParticipantMy site is in a test mode, so the URL wouldn’t work.
I am using CT Social Icons widget, Does it mean that I have to choose a different widget to change social icons? If so, which (free) widget could you recommend?And another question – if I download from the Internet a list with multiple icons -how can I assign one images out of many to be a custom image? I do not know how to setup image map in WordPress.
Thank you.
November 23, 2018 at 10:54 am in reply to: Layout customization questions: Website Title& Main Menu #159946LydiaParticipantPadding-bottom does work for me – I have a logo image which is wider than a title/tag line so it is easy to see for desktop. I test the code in Chrome and Firefox (Windows) for desktop, tablet and mobile layouts.
In mobile version padding-bottom would apply to the title line, since the logo is located above the title line.
It works like a magic, so I am keeping it. But thank you for the idea to test it more thoroughly in mobile browsers before I go live. They may show it differently sometimes.Olga

#site-branding {
padding-top: 5px;
Padding-bottom: 5px;
}And separately for tablet/mobile layout:
#masthead {
padding-top: 5px;
padding-bottom: 5px;
}It seems to be working. Is there any mistake that I haven’t noticed yet?
Thanks

…I have a few menu options that are aligned to the LEFT by default…November 21, 2018 at 10:05 am in reply to: Layout customization questions: Website Title& Main Menu #159782LydiaParticipantYes, the site is in a test mode, it is a stage site. we are currently running another site with the same domain name on a different hosting. I can’t go live with my stage site to make it available to you. Is there any other way,for example to use an IP address so you cold see it?
If you can’t see the website, I will try to explain what I need to customize.
1. There is a fixed Site Title and Tagline shown between the main menu and the sliders – I used your custom CSS code from the previous posts to make it available. I need to make the Title/Tag line (fixed-header?) a little bit narrower, to reduce the white space above and below the text – without changing the fond size. Also I have a logo image there before Title/tag line, so if you have built-in margin around logo image, it could also affect the width of this section.
2. In my Primary menu (at the very top of the page) – I have a few menu options that are aligned to the right by default. I want to make them “spread” more evenly, so there is more space between the menu options.
Alternatively I could have the loge shown on the left and align my menu elements to the right – as it is done on your website (catch cheme logo is on the left and Home-…-Blog-My Account links are aligned to the right.Hope my explanation is sufficient enough.
