Hi. We need to update our Pro theme; I have used the built-in customizer for the theme for colors, etc. I have not edited the code; do I still need to create a child theme? I am worried that if I update our theme, the settings will be lost. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Skandha. I have an unusual update. I made a minor edit to the CSS, did a save, and then the custom colors that I selected were working. Please note that I did not edit the colors in CSS, just did a minor transparency value edit to the slider, and voila, the colors were working as I had specified them. For your reference, here is my site:
