Ah got it! added the custom css in the theme Options -> additional css
#main-slider .entry-container { display: none; }
and that worked fine!

That plugin does the job pretty god except for one thing.
I followed your instructions. Still the featured slider displays a little grey box in the video Thumbnail as if it wants to print the post title. If I ad a post title it prints the title “over” the video thumbnail.
How could one hide this box?
Thanks in advance !

Heinz

I’ll go for the plug-in option since I have no idea how to build a child theme 🙂 though 25 bucks is no bargain for placing/embeding a video/code on a website … 🙂

HeinzParticipantI’ve restored yesterday’s backup in order for the site to work properly…. But I need a solution to this matter since I need to upgrade the theme version to the current one…
Thanks!

Any further recomendations?HeinzParticipant“Additional CSS” what was previous working custum css in the “theme Options” is as follows:
h2#site-description { font-style: normal; font-weight: bold; } #featured-post .post { text-align: left; } #featured-post img { display: block; margin: 0 auto; } #header-menu ul.menu { text-align: left; } #featured-post img, #main-slider img { box-shadow: none; } #site-title a:hover, #site-title a:focus, #site-title a:active { color: #222; } #supplementary .widget-area, #site-generator .copyright { text-align: center; width: 100%; } #site-generator td { text-align: center; } #masthead #secundary-menu ul.menu { display: block; } @media screen and (min-width: 960px) { #site-title { font-size: 26px; } #site-description { font-size: 16px; } }

I’ve now completely renewed the wp-installation, since i wanted it in an other directory anyway. however, the links on the content images remain.

regeards, heinzPS: the only thing I did not manage to change was the textbox size in the slider… can you change that to about 500px for me…
ThanksHeinzParticipanthey sakin!
Thanks for the quick reply. I cleard the cache. not sure if it was the right one there is a ton of options in the w3 total cahce plugin….In the theme options – there is no “#” in the link line…
however the link remains…
Strange..HeinzParticipantThanks a lot!
HeinzParticipantPS: I Use the pro version – sorry for the wrong subforum…
