I finally found a simple answer to enabling individual Catch Everest Slider images to link to their related pages. It amounts to editing the WordPress Permalink for each slider post to direct it to the pertaining page.
The answer is give in detail at Catch Everest Theme Slider Linking.
Thanks again for good support and a very worthy WP Theme in Catch Everest. I always appreciate further comments or corrections.

drshentoMemberSakin, you went beyond the call of duty in looking after a WordPress issue! Thank you. The “redirection” plugin worked great so I made a web page on it at WordPress Permalinks Relinking
Thanks again.
drshentoMemberThank you, Sakin, for excellent prompt service. I don’t understand how you do it all! I’ll be trying to sell the customer on the Catch Everest Pro version or maybe pay for it myself. Yes, Pro is the simple answer to many requests.
The first link I gave should work today, the second lin is not completed yet. It should be by tomorrow. My second question is answered by Catch Everest Pro use and by your excellent answer to @Annie Post Link: http://catchthemes.com/support-forum/topic/read-more-links-leading-to-404/#post-24180
At present, I am using the permalink set in “Custom Structure” with /bio added so it reads simplewithatwist.ca/bio
This makes both my slider images go to the same page /bio. That is why I was asking how to change the permalink setting for an individual post. Then I could have the other image linked to where I want it.drshentoMemberThanks, Sakin. A complete prompt answer beyond the call of duty. Now I know you work 24/7 🙂
drshentoMemberSakin, Annie is wanting exactly what I am after. I have an individual Post that I want a different permalink for, but not changing the permalink on other posts. This is not to change the permalink structure, but it would be like having a second “Custom structure” that would only affect one Post.
My Custom Structure now has /bio added so it reads simplewithatwist.ca/bio
I can highlight the Permalink in a post and then use Google “Inspect element” and get to:
<span id=”sample-permalink” tabindex=”-1″>http://simplewithatwist.ca/bio</span>
Then use “Edit as HTML” and change it to:
<span id=”sample-permalink” tabindex=”-1″>http://simplewithatwist.ca/interior-design</span>
It changes on the screen, looking like I have changed the permalink for that post, but when I “Update” it is back to the original. What Annie and I want is to be able to change it for an individual page.
drshentoMemberIt Worked 🙂
You are not only Super-Man, you work 24/7!
Thanks Much.drshentoMemberIt turns out, I am the one not happy. My CSS #header-menu { float: right; } worked great on Chrome and other browsers for a bit and then failed. The menu didn’t show at times and at other times it showed, but didn’t work. This is testing it on different computers and browsers. 🙁
The test site is:
http://simplewithatwist.ca/
using NextGEN Pro for gallery displaying. Is there proper code that will enable a float right?
drshentoMemberWorked great, Sakin. Thank you.
I also added:
#header-menu { float: right; }
to keep everybody happy 🙂drshentoMemberSakin, you must be super-man to be in so many places at once! Thanks for the prompt, helpful reply. I am impressed with the good support from Catch Themes.
drshentoMemberSakin, I finally found you here! I hope you can find me 🙂
Catch Everest Header Menu Customize
We are needing to change the main menu under the header logo to white from Black and the print to Black. Also they want the print to the right side of the page. This is for the Main menu and the drop down menus.
We are using the free Catch Everest Theme and running it under a child theme as I could have to edit core theme files. I am designing for artists that want it just so so.
So far I have tried CSS that you have provided for others. The CSS has had no effect on the main menu? I am using it in the “Edit CSS” that comes with JetPack in the child theme. It is supposed to be the last CSS read.
drshentoMemberSakin, thanks for your promptness and complete answers.
On the link you gave me for the public forum, there is a place I can post a problem, but I go to the result of my searches and there is no place for me to ask a question related to that page??
drshentoMemberThanks, Sakin for the quick response. I’ll see you on the proper page.
The page on Catch Everest Pro does not tell me the cost. I need to know if it is a one time payment of about $45 or if it is an annual payment.
Thanks.
drshentoMemberI copied the “Ok, the complete css will be as below:” CSS and pasted it into “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box and it did nothing. I am using the free Catch Everest Theme. I am running it under a child theme as I could have to edit core theme files. I am designing for artists that want it just so so.
I am wondering if they should have the Catch Everest Pro. I wrote Sales some time ago for the difference in the two and if the price was for lifetime use. I’ve not received a reply.
Thank you for any help.
