I’ve been trying the “Rock Star” theme for on of our customers before purchasing the Pro version, but I can’t seem to get anything right. Is it possible to get the “demo data” so I can import it to see what I’m doing wrong?

    1) I’ve created a few widgets that should only bee seen in the “Front Page” but is seen on all pages.
    2) I added a static home page with the “full width” layout, put it’s being rendered with content and primary sidebar.
    3) The static page (home/front page) have content (content-area with posts), this is not how the demo works (?)

My main concern is that I’m not able to recreate the demo site, why is there no demo data export/import available?

I don’t feel confident in buying the pro theme if I can’t even manage to get my test site working as the demo.

    Regards

@gonace: There is no demo data for the theme, almost all demos are there available with in the theme, you just have to enable the options. Example: Featured Slider, Featured Content, New Ticker etc
    1) For widgets to be visible in only “Front Page”, you’ll need to use plugin for this.
    2) Homepage acts as single page so it is displaying Sidebar, please change Single Page/Post Layout to No Sidebar Full Width and you’ll get full width page.
    3) Checking on our server, the static page is working fine. Please post in your site url.
Instagram widget working fine in full width.

    Hi
Thanks for your reply, I manage to get the Front Page working as the demo, and widget only to be shown in the front page I was also able to get working with a plugin.

However the instagram widget I’m not getting to work it is being wrapped in a div element with the class wrapper. (div#supplementary > div.wrapper > div.footer-widget-wrapper > div.instagram-image-wrapper)

    Regards,
    Erik

@gonace: Seems you’ve put the instagram widget in Footer widget area, please put it either in Before or After Content widget area. Please post in your site url. Let me know if any problem.

    Regards,
    Mahesh
