Hi! I’m running Photofocus Pro 5.0.2 on WordPress 5.6.2 and PHP 8. When I upgraded *to* Photofocus Pro 5.0.2 (and Photofocus 1.1.9), I received an email notification about an error that was generated by the theme. Here is the message I received:
When seeking help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information: WordPress version 5.6.2 Current theme: PhotoFocus Pro (version 5.0.2) Current plugin: (version ) PHP version 8.0.2 Error Details ============= An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 133 of the file /path/to/public_html/wp-content/themes/photofocus-pro/inc/updater/theme-updater-class.php. The theme upgrade appears to have worked ok as the site seems to function fine. Thanks for looking into this!

When seeking help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information: WordPress version 5.7.1 Current theme: PhotoFocus Pro (version 5.1.1) Current plugin: (version ) PHP version 8.0.3 Error Details ============= An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 133 of the file /path/to/site/public_html/wp-content/themes/photofocus-pro/inc/updater/theme-updater-class.php. Again, the upgrade appeared to work, despite this error being generated.
Peace…

TikaramApril 28, 2021 at 10:44 am #280770tomdkatParticipant@tikaram No worries. I actually got the exact same error when upgrading from Photofocus Pro 5.1.1 to 5.1.2. Fortunately, the error doesn’t seem to affect/impact the upgrade at all. However, WordPress does send out the notification message about the uncaught exception. The developers should be able to identify the issue and take the appropriate action. 🙂
Thanks!
