I have just purchased the Fotografie pro theme, how do I create the wider style of gallery as seen in the demo https://catchthemes.com/demo/clean-fotografie/style-guide/gallery/

@clothears-costumes: For that you will need to use our Catch Gallery Plugin. Install and Activate the plugin.

To use Catch Gallery
Add New Block => Formatting => Classic Block => Add Media => Create Gallery => Select the images you want in your Gallery => Create New Gallery => Now Select the type and size of the Gallery images you want in the Gallery Settings and Click Insert Gallery.

Thanks, I have followed your instructions as best I could but I am still unable to get the gallery working like the demo, I would like the gallery to be full width and mosaic, how do I do this?

@clothears-costumes: Edit the Gallery and Under Gallery Settings Select Type as Tiled Mosaic. Now you should have the Gallery Layout like in the demo.

To have a full width page.
Edit that Post/Page => On the Right Sidebar you will Template => Select Full-Width Page

Thanks, that almost works but I have a few issues. in the demo the images in the mosaic gallery are larger with fewer images across the width of the page, can this be altered?
The mosaic gallery is also distorting some of the images how would I stop this from happening, the gallery is also leaving white space between some images, I would like to prevent this also.

This full width option does not appear in the options for a portfolio post, this is why I couldn’t see it before, but I would like these galleries (pages) to be on the home page as a portfolio, is this possible?

@clothears-costumes: I am afraid you cannot have a full width layout on a portfolio project page.

It is strange that the gallery is showing up distorted on your site. Can you try disabling all your plugins except Catch Gallery and check if the Gallery shows up well.

Thanks for the reply, I switched off all plugins and it displays the images correctly, so I switched the plugins back on one at a time and it would appear that the issue is with a3 Lazy Load.

You could use a page/post to show gallery on Homepage. This way you can use Full Page Width Template option available on Post and Pages.

I don’t understand, I just need to display galleries on my home page like the portfolio does currently but I obviously need them to be pages or posts to have the full width galleries.

Before I upgraded to fotografie pro I had the free version and had pages with galleries that I could set as featured content, these pages then showed on the home page with featured images. Now I have the pro theme the featured content doesn’t show on the home page, if I could get this to work I could show my galleries by this method. How do I get featured content to show on the home page?

ok I have managed to get the featured content to show on the home page but I have another issue now. I want to put all of my pages into a parent page called portfolio but when I set the parent page to portfolio I get a page could not be found error.

@clothears-costumes: It looks like you have disabled Essential Content Types Plugin. Can you enable the plugin and let me know if the issue is resolved.
