@shana-shanti: To update pro theme you’ll need to first download the theme from https://catchthemes.com/my-account/ page. Then install Catch Web Tools plugin and activate Catch Updater Module. https://wordpress.org/plugins/catch-web-tools/

If I buy and upload Catch Evolution Pro, will it delete all of the customization I’ve done on the free version? Will I have to start from scratch?

You should retain all your customization after you upgrade from free to pro.

However if you had made any changes to theme files directly those changes wont be reflected.

I just posted this on the wrong thread. Sorry.

I have another question. If I buy Evolution Pro, will I be able to get rid of (or color) that top margin above the header image? And will I be able to change the color of the default menu as well as center the menu items?

Also, when it says I have to pay for updates, how often are updates and are the updates I have to pay for ones that will make my theme not work with WordPress updates?

@bigcaat: To get rid of the margin above header image
Go to => Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS and add the following CSS Code.

#header-content {
     padding-bottom:0 !important;
}

Yes you can change the color of default menu in pro version of the theme. You can check out the additional-features available in pro version of the theme.

After buying the pro version you will be able to download the updates for 1 year from the purchase date. After than you will need to renew your subscription. For more information you can check out our terms and conditions.
