When I set up our website a few months ago all the images were previewing ok and looking lovely. However, I’ve just looked at the site to make sure all is still ok, and there are issues with the images. Some of them are not previewing. They just have the name of the image and a ? in the space.
I am using Jetpack. As I said, it worked fine when I first set it up, and was ok for quite a while.
I have clicked on the Jetpack plugin and it says ‘It looks like your site cannot communicate properly with Jetpack’. I have tried turning other plugins off as suggested and it makes no difference. I have followed their instruction to check XMLRPC, and that is ok (I have no idea what this is!) One of the things it suggests is a conflict with the theme I am using, which is Catch Responsive (free). Are you aware of any issues please, or can you see any obvious issues which may be causing this problem please? Our website is http://www.creativesigns.uk.com

@creativesigns: I checked your site and as mentioned above got an issue with image, but as I refreshed the page again, the error was gone and worked fine. I tried couple of time and it worked fine. Have you tried changing the theme to WordPress default theme (tweenty fourteen). And is it working fine on default theme? If the issue persists on other themes as well, then it is the issue with Jetpack plugin. If so, please contact Jetpack support.

Thanks for getting back to me. Can i change theme without losing content then? So can change to twenty fourteen then back to responsive? I only started using wordpress to build this site few months ago so haven’t tried changing themes before!

@creativesigns: Yes, sure, you can change to any theme any time and don’t worry, you won’t lose any content while doing so.

Thanks for confirming that. I have solved the problem now. I deactivated jetpack and installed new tiled gallery plugin and all images showing properly again now.
