I bought the solid construction pro for https://usbolsburg.com (Union State Bank in Olsburg, KS). I work for Modern Banking Systems and part of my job is to develop websites for our bank customers. I bought this particular theme because it had a larger homepage slider. The slider is named “Demo”. There is no way to access it or update it with the bank’s images. The town of Olsburg is famous for their dala horses and barn quilts. The bank would like their website to have a community feel and the larger slider would be perfect. How do I make my images larger like the slider you show when I picked this new theme? Thank you.

In the Solid Constructions Pro theme, you can choose from Page Slider or Post Slider or Image Slider. You can check this screencast on YouTube:

Sorry, but your answer is not what I am asking. The solid construction pro theme has a homepage slider that is 9 1/2″ tall for the demo slider. When I select the demo slider, there is no way to modify it for the bank’s images. I selected Custom and the slide is 4 3/4″ tall. That’s half the size you show for the theme. I want the bank’s slider to be 9 1/2″ tall just like your theme selection. How can I increase the image height so it’s not so squished? Can I change it in the CSS code? Thank you for the quick response.

Hi Dan,

So, if you just want an image without the text then for the height you need to add Custom CSS. Please add the following CSS in the “Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS” box:

.slider-content-wrapper .hentry {
  padding: 124px;
}
