i have updated to v 3.9 but the new Social icons are not available under “Catch Web Tools -> Social Icons”.
Is there something i have missed?

Since you didn’t mention that the icon needs to be updated in Catch Web Tools, So we added that in the theme itself.

Yes the theme itself has the options to add social icons in footer and header. For that please go to Dashboard => Menu and check the screenshots below for more settings.

Hello Biagio,

Did you try adding those social icons and check in front side? It looks something like this (check screenshot).

Just try to add the social links like I showed in above message and icons will appear automatically in front side.

If you check:
1. Header Social Menu => It will show in the header of the website along with navigation.
2. Social Menu Above Footer => It will show Just above the footer.
3. Footer Social Menu => It will show in the footer of the website.

Hello Biagio,

As for What’s App icon, you have to set url to ‘https://wa.me/your-number’. As you can also see in the screenshots that I sent you previously.

If you still face issue, then please share your webite url and screenshots of the setting for what’s app icon.

I see, my URL is https://whatsapp.com/xxxx and therefore the Icon will not be used.

if you have planned to extent the Social Widget, i will wait for that update.

Hello @biagio,

You just need to add your what’s app phone number to the url => https://wa.me/(number). You don’t have to create any separate url for this. Follow the process:

1. Add a custom links to menu
2. Put url => https://wa.me/00000000000 (Include the country code, but omit plus signs, dashes, spaces, or leading zeros).
3. Type link text = What’s App
4. Click on add to menu
5. And save menu

Then it will show What’s App icon and once you click on it, it will redirect to what’s app. Please try, I think you missed something.

And yes, you can surely wait for plugin update. You will be notified once we send you an update for social widget.

But now it is clear for me how it works.

Actually there is no update available for the Theme, still 3.9

Hi Sujeet

thanks for the Update of the Social widget. Since the update, E-Mail icon will not appear on the Website. If i use only the E-Mail-Address, it adds a https:// in front of it. I tried also with mailto:[email protected] but the icon is also not showed on the Site.

Can you explain how to add the Mail-Icon?
