In theme options– then to homepage options—homepage featured content option– then I just uploaded the pictures I wanted, put in a title and left the description blank.

@blakedwyer: It is sliding fine on my Side. The slider will only slide once the content has been fully downloaded. So, it might take time when internet is slow.
