I am using Woocommerce with this theme. The /shop/ page does not display the sidebar even though the Select Sidebar drop down has “Default Sidebar” selected.

@beltan: Go to => Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Layout Options => WooCommerce Layout => Select Left Sidebar or Right Sidebar
Do you have this option checked?

I have that option checked and the sidebar for WooCommerce does not show up. Widgets are added to the sidebar for WooCommerce as well.

I have emailed many times and havent received an answer. The woo commerce sidebar does not show up, its the regular sidebar that shows up. And I need it to be the specific woo commerce one! 🙂

@malevolentia: Hello there, the update has been released. Please update the theme and let me know if the WooCommerce Sidebar issue is resolved.

The update contains multiple file changes but to fix the WooCommerce Sidebar issue only inc/extras.php file has been changed. You can the changes made in the update in the theme changelog.

Would it be possible to add more info to the changelog?

Like which files has been affeceted and even better which lines in the files. That would be really great, I know a lot of other themes does it, it’s a good way to learn more coding as well 🙂

Sorry a bit of a side note, but search bar in Woo commerce sidebar looks different from when added to other side bars on the site.

Thank you for the suggestion. I will forward this to development team and see what can be done.

1. Added: Support for wp_body_open action
– Change was made in header.php file in line no 24 as this code was added <?php do_action( 'wp_body_open' ); ?>

2. Bug Fixed: Excerpt in post single page
– Change was made in template-parts/content/content-single.php in line no 16 this code was removed <?php catch_inspire_excerpt(); ?>

The search in the screenshot you posted is Product Search Widget and not the normal search.
