Hi, in an old thread I repurposed Testimonials to use for some things we wanted to feature. The site turned out really well. Now we’d like to do the same thing to feature a new collection of jewelry. The site is JohnDMaddinArt.com

I’m not sure if three or four columns will be the ideal but can work with either. As before, the name of the section and the font would change. I know the Testimonials section received actual updates to help with this and don’t know if the same applies to Services, or if another section would be a better choice. The plan is to add another row of boxes between Featured and Recent Posts. It would also be good to know if I need to plan on another band of background image to fit in between, and where I would do that.

@catwingz : You can make use of either the Portfolio section or the services section that resides between the featured content and recent posts section. Portfolio comes with three columns layout with larger featured image and services section comes with four columns layout with smaller featured images. You can try enabling the sections and choose the one that fits your requirements. Let me know if you need any further assistance I will be happy to answer your queries.

@tikaram what can I do to make it so the entire Portfolio featured image/box is the link instead of just the text title? The text is too limiting, actually difficult to click, and not readily apparent that they are links. This addition is currently viewable here

@catwingz : Sorry for the delay. You will need to make some changes in the code that displays the portfolio section. Please let me know if you are comfortable with child theme customization. I will guide you through the process.

@tikaram regarding the portfolio section links, the site is already using a child theme, so no problem there.

You can disregard #330192 in this thread because it has finally made it into its own thread. I had trouble posting in the forum and I believe someone placed it here not understanding it’s a new issue and a different website.
