    Hi, I really like the slider option.  But the size of the figure is quite large and I would like to reduce it. Can you tell me how?  The other thing is I want to switch off the comment so nobody can leave comment.  Thank you.

    @azie: I don’t understand why you want small slider. The biggest point of Catch Everest Theme is it’s compatible to big screen as well. This theme is responsive so it show big image in big screen and small in smaller screens.

    Hi Sakin thank you for the response.  The Slider Image is taking up a lot of the space for the homepage.  I would like to be able to shrink the image a little bit so people are able to see the words underneath the slider image as soon as they land on my homepage instead of scrolling down.  I would appreciate if you can help me to reduce the size of the image featured.

    @azie: for that you need to build child theme and edit it. It’s not that easy to change the Post slider image. You need to hire customizer.

    But there is one good news. We are launching Catch Everest Pro theme next week where there will be option to use Featured Image Slider. Where you can upload image of any size as there will be image uploader.

    @azie: We have just release the Catch Everest Pro theme. How come you got that. See this http://catchthemes.com/themes/catch-everest-pro

    how can i make the slider 100px higher.

    i changed the stylesheet and the function to 550 but it still html outputs the height 450 when viewing the source.

    @dre2010: Once you change it in function you need to regenerate the thumbnail again. Use this plugin to regenerate it http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ and then change any value on theme option and it will load you new size.
