Hello,

In preparation of the migration of the website Laura.hagmeijer.nl I try to rebuild the website on staging.toerfietsleusden.nl.

Here I met a old problem: it isn’t possible to have five categories on one line. The category images are very big, while the settings are exactly the same is on Laura.hagmeijer.nl

I installed this morning the theme: catchmagpro and guess what: no problem.

Is there a solution for this problem?

Thank you for fast answering.
Done. I installed the other template to show that more categories on a page is possible.
Now the settings are equal to Laura.Hagmeijer.nl, but the result is totally different.

For this problem a few weeks ago a new theme version has been deployed.
Nog I encounter the same problem as before.

It is my goal to have five categories on a row just like Laura.hagmeijer.nl

I tried to find a solution and I found something.
When I open the page (staging.toerfietsleusden.nl) on my MacBook I activated the safari possibility “inspect element”. Is see two lines there:
<div class=​”columns-3”>​
<ul class=​”products columns-6″>​…​​
-3 stands for the standard number of images. I can change what I want in the woocommerce settings, but the result is always three images on the same line.

If I change -3 into -6 the problem seems to be solved. But this is not the way it should be done, I think.

I change -3 into -5, so you can see a good solution on the page. But the problem hasn’t been solved, because the change from -3 into -6 or -5 must -in my opinion- realize automatically after choosing the number of columns in the woocommerce settings.

I am curious if I have the right idea.

I cannot save changes. So you will see the five big pictures in two rows.
I searched in the release notes of the theme and I found this:

Can you try making the following change in your staging site?
Go to => Appearance => Customize => WooCommerce => Product Catalog => Products per row => Change this to 5 and Publish.

Hello Skandha,

There is no such possibility in catch store pro 3.5. That is the problem.
I cannot add an image, because the support forum refuses if I do so in google.
I will try later in my one drive,
Maybe it is possible to install 3.5 yourself, so that you can see it.
Also the measurements of images are not in this part of the customizer.
IN catchmagpro all is ok.

Can you try deactivating all the plugins except WooCommerce and check if the option in the customizer appears?

Of course I will do that. There are rather many plugins. So it takes time. 🙂

Found the responsible plugin.
It was: Woocommerce Products Per Page.

SO you can warn in future people if they experience the same problem.

Now the problem is clear. I can set now after deactivating plugins the number of images on a row and the number of rows.
Now searching which plugin this problem caused.
