Hello,
I have been using Full frame with a child theme for several years without a problem.
Since WordPress 5.5.1, the slider no longer works on the home page. At the same time, a white (empty) area appears at the bottom of the page (only on the home page). When I check this area with the explore tool, it looks like the slider is there, but hidden.I tried several things:
– local test: it is really the switch to version 5.5.1 that triggers the disappearance of the slider and the white area at the bottom of home page (change from WP 5.4.2 to 5.5.1 direct)
– deactivation of all extensions: same problem
– added JQuery Migrate Helper extension: same problem
– activation of the Full-Frame theme without child-theme: same problem. Only the demo slider works, but not the page slider.I tried the solution proposed there:same problem.
I don’t know what to do anymore, please help me!

The slider is working fine at my end. It more looks like a plugin conflict with our theme. Please deactivate all plugins for testing purpose and activate every plugin one by one. During activation test your site and you can detect the plugin that might be causing the issue. Please follow this link to know more about plugin conflicts with our themes.

Here is the result in image, in the admin and on the console (exploration tool).
Error on admin Error in the consolePlease update JQuery for this theme.

I had tested with all plugins disabled, it doesn’t change anything, I reactivated them on the live site in order to not disorganize my site. But I also tested locally, with all plugins deactivated, and I didn’t have the slider.
I am thinking to a JQuerry problem, as described in my post above (sorry for the duplicate, it did not appear)
What do you think about a JQuerry problem? Can you have a look at the links with the screenshot images?October 13, 2020 at 1:02 am #262363October 13, 2020 at 4:59 pm #262430FlobogoParticipantOK, thanks, I just answered to your email.

Did you receive my last email? I told you that the slider was working again (many thanks). And I asked to you if the problem was with child-theme.
Next, I saw that you had installed the site-health pluginn, and that you had deactivated a slideshow plugin. So, what was the problem? Is Full-Frame’s JQuery function involved? How do I prevent a new problem with a next update?
Best regards.

I responded to the email. It was really this small adjustment of the Image loader. Thanks again for the help provided.
My problem is solved.October 29, 2020 at 2:01 am #264183 -
