I have the new ticker set for pages, and to flip vertically. I have two items (but have also set it to call in 4), but it only shows one and doesn’t flip to the next one. Any suggestions?

@fireflywebs: Do you have any plugins installed. If yes, try disabling it and check if that resolves the issue. Does it issue persist in demo content too? Let me know further.

I have lots of plugins and here is what I have discovered so far.

I have this theme loaded on my wamp, as well as here: https://rmofcanwood.ca/494/ and here: https://blainelake.ca/BL2017

I was able to get the ticker flipping on the wamp by turning things plug-ins off and on…. I think. It just started working when I went back to the NewsTicker settings.

This didn’t work with the sites.
But for one https://rmofcanwood.ca/494/ I turned off all Jetpack’s dashboard settings and the ticker began to work. Jetpack itself is activated.

This did not occur for the https://blainelake.ca/BL2017

I have the almost the same plug-ins on both sites, and none on the site that doesn’t work that are not on the site that does.

So the ticker seems fickle somehow. Can you help further.

Yeah… the new update lucida-pro 1.4.3 fixed the problem, and the news ticker is now flipping.

Spoke too soon. The ticker is no longer editable. Nothing drops into the bottom of the left side panel under ‘News Ticker’ to make any changes to it.
I can enable and disable, or change it from homepage to entire site, but absolutely no options appear for adding the ticker content.

@fireflywebs: I checked the same on our server and its working fine. Try disabling the plugins if you have any. And while selecting Homepage/Frontpage option, please make sure you are on the home page on the right screen (live testing) or try selecting Entire Site option. Let me know if any problem.

I can’t explain why it didn’t work but I had to reload the previous version of the template to get the ticker back. The plug ins made no difference, and yes I had the Homepage/Frontpage option selected. I flipped through all the options, and nothing made the options appear. It was simply blank and content I had in the ticker prior to the upgrade was not editable or accessible.
I have 2 sites with this them. The one in question is https://blainelake.ca
The ticker works now with the downgraded version once I reinstalled it, although it wasn’t working before with this same version.
It is very fickle.

@fireflywebs: Is the issue still occurring? If yes, please try installing fresh copy of the latest version of the theme. If the issue persist, let me know. We’ll need to check on your server for the issue.

The issue is not still occurring as I have the previous version installed. I will reinstall the latest version and let you know how that goes.

I finally got around to reinstalling version 1.4.3, and the newsticker works fine now. The reinstall seem to be the fix.
