Hi,

I recently bought the my music band pro theme.( noticed it didn’t support automatic updates yet I hope ).

After installing v2.0.1. but I’ve been breaking my head on how to get the event section that is on the frontpage showing up on a separate single page.

I must be missing something. Can someone explain me how to do this? I only have the option to show up on frontpage or on every page, but I want it to show up on separate events page.

Appreciate any help I can get.

Hi Sapana –

The site is currently unpublished. We are trying to make the events page a separate page. The menu at the top right has an option called “Shows & Tour” I want that to direct to a brand new page, rather than just going to the shows menu on the home page as it does now. Any idea what the problem could be?

@blakey0320:Update has been released.Please, update the theme.
You will need to make a separate page and select template as Events.Now, the event section will be display on that page.

To remove other content from the page you will need to add a bit of additional CSS code.Let me know when you have added the page and site is live.

@Sapana – I would like the Shows & Tour Whitespace in between the header title and breadcrumbs smaller. Can you help with that?

Go to => Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS and add the following CSS Code.

    padding-top:0;
}

It did fix the Events Page, but It’s happening on every page now where the events section is.
The spacing is an issue only on the events(Shows & Tours) page because there’s something in that event template causing all of that whitespace. Thoughts?

    padding-top:0px;
}

Hey Guys –

I am trying to add a new event to the events calendar. Where can I do that at? My friend set this up for me and I can not seem to find where I can create the new event. I see where I can display 7, 8, 9 etc but I do not see where to add a new one. Thanks.

@blakey0320:Go to=> Appearance=> Customize=> Theme Options=> Events=> Select Content Type => Select Custom/Category/Post/Page you want to created the events.

Thanks @sapana, i am there but the thing is it is set to custom. Which is what is used for the previous events. I click to add an additional by dispalying 7, and there is no where for me to input new content. Is the event maybe added from a different section? From there I can only edit my existing 6 events. Not add any additional from what i can see.

@blakey0320:You can also add the event from the same section,You can simply increment the No of the Items and save and refresh the page.let me know if this helps you out!
