Scream! I’ve been working all morning on trying to add a footer with a link to a magazine we have an ad in. No luck. Then my side widgets are gone. I had 3 contact info, facebook plugin and info on upcoming free class.
I also lost my footer with contact information.
I have been trying to use a slider with 3 pictures and put the pics on the featured image pages and put the page id in the customizer with no luck.
Please help

ok I got the widgets back on pages other than the front page. I have a contact page that only shows the html and not the form. I still don’t get the slider.

the side widgets did come back eventually. Maybe I was moving too fast.
I have followed the instructions for the slider. 2 pictures, two featured images on 2 pages. maybe it has something to do with the way my header appears.
I also run legacy martial arts, legacymmausa.com. It represents 3 locations. Is there a way to have inquiries go to 3 different email addresses?

Do you have issues with the slider? Please let me know what exactly is the issue as I am a bit confused with the actual issue.

By inquiries, what do you mean? I do not think this is related to theme, as out themes do not provide that kind of functionality. Let me know if I am wrong.

1. customizing featured slider. 2 slides, featured post ID #1 is on our instructors page. #2 is on children’s classes page.
2. save
3. no slider
4. designated pages have featured slider picture.
5. I save and go back to check the customizer and the ID is gone.
6. I don’t want it on the home page only the other pages.
7. I have watched the video and read the info.

Hi barb,

I think the mistake is that you have used Page id instead of Post ID. The Free version only has Post Slider and Category Slider, not page slider. Page slider is present in Pro Version.

Please try adding Post ID instead and see if it works or not.

It does say post ID. However, I am using pages and not posts. I don’t know where to find the post ID. I have tried the URL for the featured picture and that doesn’t work. At least we are making progress.

Hi @Barb,

To find the id for post, you can either add Catch IDS plugin or Catch Web Tools with Catch IDs module activated.
Once installed and activated, you will be able to view the Id of the post on the Post list page. Let me know if you run into trouble.

sorry this doesn’t make sense to me. I don’t have any posts. I only have pages. The featured image is on a page.So I am guessing I can’t use the slider feature in Catch Box free.

You will need to upgrade to pro for Page sliders.
