Greetings!

The images on random pages have disappeared, a music media file on one page disappeared and the post slider is not functioning properly.

I manually replaced many media files last night but there appears to be a bigger issue.

Is all of this happening because I haven’t installed the recent update?

@Michelle: Image disappearance has nothing to do with the theme. Theme is only for design and functionality. All your image uploaded from Media and Theme Options panel will be stored in wp-content/uploads folder. So, I don’t get it what is your issue. Can you explain it in details.

I thought so but when I saw the issue with the post slider and the music media file, I thought that it might be a theme issue.

The post slider pages are not displaying at all so you just see dots.

The images are still in the library however the many images have disappeared from posts and pages.

@Michelle: Post in your site URL so that I can check in? Anything that you are have recently changed like adding/updating plugins or changing any settings.

More info: It’s not that the images have disappeared. They are not displaying properly. It seems to be all of the images that were uploaded prior to downloading the theme.

I do not believe that I did anything new prior to these image issues. However, I updated plugins today.

@Michelle: Looks like you recently changed the site URL from your test site http://divinew1.wwwss9.a2hosting.com/ to http://divinewiz.com/. As your images are linked to
http://divinew1.wwwss9.a2hosting.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/man-meditating-198x300.jpg
Which actually needs to be
http://divinewiz.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/man-meditating-198x300.jpg

So, you need to check your database and replace all http://divinew1.wwwss9.a2hosting.com to http://divinewiz.com

Please check in with the person who change this or ask your web hosting support to change that.

Actually, I moved from the test site May 1st. I have manually moved most of the images. Maybe I just need to changed the links in the slider? I will check.

Thank you! I will make a note of it. The photos in the media library were properly linked. It was only the post and page uploads. I needed to add labels to most of them anyway.
