I have 3 books featured on the front page – all with full covers. I edited the first book and wanted to update the image as well. but when I do it is suddenly cut down to about half size – and shows as such. The images is exactly the same original size as the old one, and I can still put back the old one in it’s original size – but a new one – not at all. it seems to be cropped to same size as the images for the blog posts automatically – I can do nothing about it, I am not asked if I want to crop or anything. I need full front pages of my books on the front page as it has been from the start but I do need to be able to change these covers as I write more books.

I can see something happens even as I choose the image on the page as it is shown cropped – and different even from the size shown on the front page – both cropped but differently. How do I set ‘original size’ to make sure the whole cover is visible as with the old images?  what has happened?

Why are these images suddenly ruined by being cropped to an absolutly useless size for a book cover with nowhere to choose the original size? settings that autocrop artwork are anathema and if I can’t show my full book covers I cannot use the theme.

(as I have put back the old cover image you cannot see the difference. there is no way I can have a webpage that looks crap with one image shorter than the others for just hours. sorry.)

@anduin: Hello there,

Can you please update the theme to the latest version that is version 3.3.4. Then,

Go to => Appearance => Customize => Featured Content => Featured Image Size => Select Original Size and Publish.
