I’ve spent more than an hour goofing around with this. I have a set of images that I have uploaded to the Media Library multiple times. First i had these images there each time I want to upload them again, I first permanently delete from the Media Library and then drag and drop them to upload to the library. When I look at the images in the library, they are being displayed as older versions. I know this as 1 in particular I cropped in a very different way to make it landscape 600×400, but in the library is still keeps displaying the portrait version.

@Keith: Can you try uploading another image with different name. There must be some confusing. Also when you upload the image, the media uploader generate various image sizes depending on theme and plugin used.

Can you post in the image URL that is being uploaded.
