I was editing one of my page attributes and when I went to see if it updates properly, I lost my homepage content – which was a slider of featured images. The setting for the slider look correct, but I don’t know how to fix the page attributes. I want the pages not to have a “search” field on them. Thanks in advance!

Unpacking the package…
Installing the theme…
The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Theme installation failed.
I’m not even sure what I need to do from here.
Thanks,

You’ll need to first download the theme from https://catchthemes.com/my-account/ page. Then install Catch Web Tools plugin and activate Catch Updater Module. https://wordpress.org/plugins/catch-web-tools/

I followed the instructions, watched the video, installed the Catch Web Tools, and uploaded the new version. Unfortunately, the same error message as listed above.
Installing the theme…
The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Theme installation failed.
I appreciate your time, but this is still not working.
Thanks
DanielleFebruary 27, 2018 at 10:19 am #132470Danielle NelsonParticipantI tried it a few more times, and it finally worked. Same procedure, different results? Must be my fault.
Now, back to the original question: how do I get my homepage back?
February 28, 2018 at 3:30 am #132537SkandhaParticipant@dnelson503: I see on your site that you have got back the featured slider. Is this what you wanted?
Let me know if you have anymore issues!

SkandhaFebruary 28, 2018 at 9:31 pm #132575Danielle NelsonParticipantWell, it is back but it took a few days. I ended up having BlueHost reload a backup of the old website. The updated version of Jomsom 1.5.2 was not the issue. After the update, it was still lost. Anyway, it is working again!
Sakin was a huge help. I had no idea how to fix this! Thank you for checking in on my website problem. I really appreciate all the help.
