Hello –
I am trying to verify my website http://www.matthewfacciolla.com and get rid of the description “A description for this result is not available because of this site’s robots.txt – learn more.” when the website is searched on google. I have entered the verification code into the ID location under Theme Options / Webmaster Tools, verified it on my host, Godaddy, and tried to enter the meta tag under the header code section. I don’t know what else to try and have been searching for solutions for days.
Also, I was wondering if there was a way to bring the social media links to the top of the website (instead of putting them at the bottom in the widgets), but without the search bar that comes with it? I know how to get it to the top, but I don’t want the search bar because it adds unnecessary white space to the header. If there’s a way to do this, that’d be great.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

For Best Search Engine Optimization about the Site and Site Description. Please use this plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-seo/
About the social media icons. I see that you have added “Catch Everest Social Widget” in “Footer Area One” widget area. Also you have disable the header right section though “Appearance => Theme Options => Header Right Section”. I think you did this to show the full width header image. Check this settings and play with it.

Do I have to let google know about my website? Or does it have to do with it being a new website with a smaller number of searches?
Also, I want the header right section disabled because I don’t want the search bar at the top, but I want the social media icons in the header right section. I just want to know how to get rid of the search box (I could not find a way to do it under ‘Search Text Settings’.
Thank you.

I just check in your site and I see that you have hide the Search in header through “Custom CSS” box.
