    Hi, all.

    I am trying to mimic the animated gallery that is on the demo page. I’m using the homepage the same way it’s used in the demo.

    I’ve created a page with a gallery inside, which displays the images, but they don’t animate, nor do they go into a carousel when clicked.

    I can’t find the options anywhere for making this happen.

    Ugh. Sorry. I am relatively new to wordpress. Note that the Bold Photography Pro doesn’t have instructions on the Catch Themes page.

    Thanks.

    @unamimedia: Hello there,
    The Gallery you are referring to is the Portfolio Section
    Go to => Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Portfolio => Select Type as Category and Select the Categories and Publish.

    For the Animation
    Go to => Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Animate => Toggle on the option Animate on Scroll and Publish.

    Let me know if this works out!
    Kind Regards,
    Skandha

    Ok, Thx! I’ll try it when I get back to my computer.

    I don’t know why the instructions page for this template is gone. The link is dead in the dashboard.

    Hi, Skandha.

    Ok, so the post/portfolio thing worked. The problem is that when I create a gallery, it does not go to the carousel. I’ve checked everything, but it seems like my catch gallery isn’t working right.

    There is no action when I click on the images inside the gallery, they are all static.

    Is it possible for the catch gallery to conflict with other plugins, or would uninstalling/reinstalling the plugin help?

    Thanks.

    @unamimedia: Hello there,
    The Gallery section and Portfolio section are two different sections.

    To setup gallery section
    Create a page/post and setup a gallery using Catch Gallery with the instructions in the Instructions Tab.

    Then,
    Go to => Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Gallery => Select type as Page/Post and Select Page/Post where you create the Gallery and Publish.

    Let me know if this works out!
    Kind Regards,
    Skandha

    Ok, I figured out the issue. The Catch Gallery options don’t show up in my blocks (the editor choices). Jetpack’s stuff does, but not Catch Gallery.

    I tried to deactivate Jetpack and Catch still didn’t show up in there. Therefore, the Catch Tiled gallery is unavailable in posts, on the homepage, and in pages.

    I don’t know what to do about this, so any help would be appreciated.

    Jetpack does not allow for resizing of the tiled gallery. It shows up huge on the Homepage. DARNIT!

    Thx
    Andrew

    @unamimedia: Hello Andrew,
    Currently Catch Gallery cannot be setup using blocks.
    You will need to add a Classic Block first.

    Edit a post/page => Add New Block => Formatting => Classic Block => Add Media => Create Gallery => Select the images you want in your Gallery => Create New Gallery => Now Select the type and size of the Gallery images you want in the Gallery Settings and Click Insert Gallery and Update the post/page.

    Let me know if you are still having issue setting up catch gallery.
    Kind Regards,
    Skandha

    Ok. Whew, I’m not good at the WP interface yet. Thanks for taking the extra time.

    I tried that and it worked. I want to use Catch Gallery because based on the samples, it looks better than the other galleries.\

    Thx!
    Andrew

    @unamimedia: Hello Andrew, I hope I was able to resolve your issue. If it’s not too much trouble, I have a quick request: could you please leave an honest review?
    https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/catch-gallery/reviews/#new-post
    Your review will help others know what to expect when they’re looking for the support I offer. Even a sentence or two would be hugely
    appreciated. Thanks, and if there’s anything else at all that I can do to help, don’t hesitate to let me know. Have a good day! 🙂

    Kind Regards,
    Skandha
