Every so often I check my site strikingnote.com on my iphone and find the homepage slider is frozen on the last of three images, with the text from all the three images superimposed on each other. This can be corrected by clearing history/website data in Safari. I am using the latest IOS on and iphone 5. The problem does not occur on other devices I’ve tested. I have a screenshot if it would help.
Any ideas what is wrong?

Which means that your slider will not slide until all the images in the slider get loaded. Go to “Appearance => Customize => Featured Slider => Featured Slider Options” and change that from Wait to true or false then it will show fast. It’s internet and hosting speed issue. You can try installing pluign like W3 Total Cache or WP Rocket to improve site loading.

I did that back then and it seemed to work, even on the iphone.
The problem on the iphone is that the slider title text of all three slider images are superimposed on the third image and you the image doesn’t change on its own or by clicking the the next icon. I don’t see that problem on the ipad or PC.
My phone is connected at very high speed through WIFI.

June 24, 2015 at 2:01 am #60016SakinKeymasterAlso add the following css in “Appearance = Customize => Theme Options => Custom CSS Options” box:
#feature-slider .cycle-slideshow .hentry.displaynone { display: none; }
June 24, 2015 at 6:13 pm #60060MarkParticipantSakin, You are correct! I tested it again today on two iphones and the sliders work fine. I have no idea what happened but I have a screenshot to prove it. Thanks for checking.
