Hi there!
I’m currently revamping my site, which has admittedly been collecting dust for a very long time. After updating to the latest version of Catch Evolution, featured images have vanished from my Pages. Where there was once a featured image, I now only see the default site header image. The option to add a featured image is still present on the Page editor, but selecting an image and setting it to appear makes no difference. I still only see the static header.
I’ve scoured through all of my settings- nothing has changed that should have caused this to happen, and featured images still appear as they should for my Posts. It’s only PAGES that have this issue.
Have a look at my About page for an example of the problem: http://barefootwanderer.com/about/
I have restored it to a revision I made prior to installing updates. The image displayed above the text (7mejump.jpg) was originally set as a featured image, and was displayed in place of the static header. Now, I only see the current static header image (barefootwanderer4-1.png) despite having a different featured image selected for this Page.
Furthermore, inspecting the code for these pages doesn’t show any evidence of featured images existing, despite the option still being available on the editor. What’s going on here??
Please help me resolve this issue so that I can set up my parent Pages with featured images. I’m happy to provide further information. Thanks so very much!!
