MemberI have set up multiple pages with featured images and set them to have a parent page. The parent page won’t show the featured images on it. Can anyone tell me where I’m going wrong please

Keymaster@chestnut1984: I don’t get your question. can you share your parent page URl and explain it bit more so that I can understand it.

MemberHi thanks for reply. My site is http://www.aspirebuilding.co.uk If you click on projects from the menu just writing comes up. If however you hover over projects then the drop down list comes down. Each one of the drop down pages has projects page as a parent then each page from there has another page with a feratured image. So for example If you hover over projects then hover over extensions then over single storey extensions then lastly you have some of my single storey extensions. These have the featured images. They are all parented to the page before.
I was hope was to be able to set a featured image on the last pages and they would show in for example the single storey extensions page and extensions and then projects. Is this possible? It seems not any featured images I have set have worked.
Any help would be appreciated

Keymaster@chestnut1984: I am still not sure id I understand your question. If you want to add featured image in the pages or post then see this http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/#setting-a-featured-image

MemberHi I have read the link you sent me. It may have helped. I downloaded a theme called catch everest from wordpress.org. What I was hoping for is to be able to show all featured images that a page was a parent for. So if 6 pages used a certain page as a parent for example extensions then each image from those 6 pages would show on one page. What I would then have is one after the other either under each other or beside 6 images. I have set each page to have a featured image but they don’t show anywhere. What I am maybe guessing is that the theme itself doesn’t have the correct layout to allow me to do this? Or shouldn’t this matter.

MemberHi I have managed to find an old template I used before.
If you click on projects then you see one below the other of images with text. Each image you see is a featured image from another page. When you click “more” you see the actual page with the featured image. I need to replicate this

Keymaster@chestnut1984: Oh this option is not there in our theme.

Keymaster@chestnut1984: Sorry for this you need to hire customizer to add this feature as child theme. So considering posting in http://jobs.wordpress.net/ or http://bit.ly/YANvfZ

MemberHi, I think I have a simillar question and I didn’t understand what to do from these answers. I want to know
1. How to change and disable pictures of Everest, Nepal wheel.. etc and the text which came in the package with them? I want to put my pictures instead of these.
2. When I choose Catch Everest, I imagine that my posts will be shown like main page. with slider. I can’t find a way to do that…
I already read forum/topic/featured-post-slider-not-showing-up/… and I’ll try to follow instructions there, but are they enough if I want the images of my features to e shown on main page? The other things are great and I like them. I’m very satisfied from the compability with mobile phones – really great…

Keymaster@Arhela: To add Featured Post Slider in Catch Everest Theme see this http://catchthemes.com/support-forum/topic/slider-issues/
the main page has different layout option to make where you have slider, homepage headlines, and homepage featured content. It is different then normal blog.
