Hi,

I just upgraded to Catch Evolution Pro and now the featured image won’t show up on the home page. Instead, you will see the random header image that I have set for the rest of the site.

It was showing fine before the upgrade. I tried regeneration, deleting and uploading, I also tried to delete the header customization on the page but it won’t budge. Oddly, the featured images show up on the other pages.

Please advise.

@Michelle: I just check in your site and the header image is showing single image only. If random header is showing then check your settings at “Appearance => Header” and there in “Uploaded Images” section make sure you have un-checked “Random: Show a different image on each page.”

Hi Sakin,

Thank you for your help. I apologize because I probably did not do a good job of explaining the problem. On my welcome (or home) page I have uploaded a featured image which does not show. However, on my About and Wholistic Health Consultation pages, the uploaded featured image for those respective pages are showing.

The issue is specific to the Welcome (static home page). Can you help me solve this problem?

FYI…I deleted the page and created a new one. The featured image was showing until I set it as my static front page. Now I am wondering if the the featured image slider has something to do with the problem.

@Michelle: I hope I understand your question. But not so sure. If not then please send me the screenshot showing the issue.

About Header Featured Image. You can change the settings from “Appearance => Theme Options => Header Featured Image Options”. There you can change “Enable Featured Header Image”. You should choose “Pages & Posts” then only it will show the featured image of static page in Homepage. Otherwise, it will be overwritten by Homepage will take image the default image set in “Appearance => Header”

Hi Sakin,

I tried the pages and posts settings but it disables he header for all of the posts and archives. In the free theme, I was able to have random header images on the posts and the featured images that I set for certain pages overwrote the default image set in Appearance=> Header. I have also responded to your email.
