    Hello,
I am having an issue with my Featured Images not refreshing when changed. I currently have removed all Featured images from my pages. I am using the plugin Comet Cache and have used the manual clear feature. I tried deactivating Comet Cache. I tried reinstalling Comet Cache. I have cleared my browser cache. I have rebooted my cable modem. I deleted the images from the media library. Yet, when I share to social media platforms, the old image (thumbnail) still appears.
Note. This problem only applies to images. All other content updates fine.

Any help you can offer would be appreciated.
    Regards,
    Paul Stuart, ve3eby.ca

@ve3eby : Are you getting this problem in all social media or a specific social media only ?

    Hi Tikaram,

I was getting this on Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus. I checked again this morning and it is still doing it on Facebook and Twitter, but Google Plus is now picking up a thumbnail from the first YouTube video on the page. I have been testing this with my Home page.

I don’t know if this is related, but I also notice that when I make an update to a page/post I get a warning box about leaving the page and losing changes, even though I have clicked the update button several times.

    Regards,
    Paul

@ve3eby : I checked it on Facebook from my end and a thumbnail form the first YouTube video appeared. It looks like you have issues at your end due to caching.

For the second part please try disabling all plugins and follow this link to know more about plugin conflict with our themes.

Let me know if you have any further issues.

Facebook and Twitter are both working from my end as well. I read online about a Facebook debugging tool.
    https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/

Apparently if you click the debugging button a couple of times it clears the issue. I don’t know how Twitter corrected.

I will take a look at the link you provided regarding plugins.

    Thanks,
    Paul
